Privacy policy
In the course of its activities, TBC Constructions Inc (TBC) collects and uses personal information. We are responsible for ensuring the protection of this information and for complying with our legal obligations.
By «personal information» we mean any information about an identifiable individual or that, taken separately or in combination with other data, allows an individual to be identified. In general, personal information does not include business contact information such as name, job title, business address or business telephone number.
Collection of personal information
The purposes for which information is collected are generally as part of a staffing process, to confirm an individual's identity, to create an employee file and to comply with legal requirements.
We limit the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information to the purposes we have identified to you. Your personal information may only be accessed by certain authorized persons, and only for the purposes for which they have been designated.
Consent
When we obtain information about you, we first ask for your written consent to collect, use or disclose your collected information for the identified purposes. We will seek your consent for any other use, disclosure or collection of your personal information or when the purposes for which your information was collected change.
TBC undertakes to use the information provided solely for the purposes for which it was collected and to keep it for the necessary length of time.
We may, however, collect, use or disclose personal information without your consent where permitted or required by law. In certain limited circumstances, we may collect, use or disclose personal information without your knowledge or consent. Such circumstances arise when, for legal, medical or security reasons, it is impossible or unlikely to obtain your consent, or when the information is needed to investigate, prevent or detect fraud, or to enforce the law.
Security measures for personal information
TBC strives to apply the necessary and appropriate security measures to ensure the confidentiality of the personal information in its possession. The personal information we hold is therefore accessible only to qualified persons who consult and use it only when necessary in the performance of their duties.
In particular, we restrict access to our offices, protect our computer equipment with double-checking and train our employees in computer security. In addition, a confidentiality agreement is signed by all employees with access to personal information.
Please note, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet, nor any means of electronic storage, is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee the security of any personal information transmitted to us or provided by you.
We also cannot guarantee that such personal information will not be obtained, accessed, disclosed, modified or destroyed as a result of a breach of our safeguards and security measures.
Retention of personal information
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to ensure compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Access request and modifications
You have the right to know whether we hold personal information about you and to access that personal information. You also have the right to ask questions about how this information has been collected and used, and to whom it has been disclosed. You may verify the accuracy and completeness of your personal information and, if necessary, request that it be amended.
Complaints and questions
Any complaints or questions concerning the protection of personal information should be sent to the Privacy Officer at the address given above.
We will investigate all complaints and, if they are found to be justified, we will take appropriate action, including, if necessary, amending our policies and practices.
Changes to the Policy :
This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time. The most recent version will be available on our Web site.
