As part of the expansion of the LM Wind Power plant in Gaspé, TBC carried out the work in fast-track mode. This approach superimposes design and construction, supported by extensive use of BIM tools to coordinate design in real time with the work of the various trades, thus minimizing conflicts on site.
Faced with the impressive height of the building and a tight schedule, we opted for an innovative solution: the complete prefabrication of a mechanical room in the factory. This approach made it possible to integrate all disciplines (heating, plumbing, gas, electricity, insulation, earthquake resistance and architecture) even before arriving on site. The result: six pre-assembled caissons were delivered by road, ready for connection.
