TBC carried out the building's electromechanical work, including plumbing, ventilation and electricity, for the construction of Virentia's Bécancour processing plant.
The construction of a plant to industrialize a unique carbon-neutral process for extracting ingredients from alfalfa, a food recognized for its beneficial properties. This process enables us to fractionate, transform and create 10 tonnes per hour of these high value-added ingredients.
The plant includes mechanical and production rooms, offices and a cafeteria, as well as equipment such as presses and refrigeration, centrifugation and ultrafiltration systems. This large-scale project was carried out at a cost of $47 million.
